ABSTRACT

This study examined the socio-cultural and environmental determinants of malaria prevention  and  treatment  among  Tal  Solarin  University  of  education  students residing in Ijagun community. The study adopted a descriptive survey research Design. Multi-stage sampling technique was used to select 200 respondents for the study.  The  use  of  self-structured  questionnaire  was  developed  as  the  only instrument for data collection. Based on the findings relevant health authorities were advised  to  consider  way  of  prevention  and  treatment  of  malaria  with  sound monitoring  and  supervision.  They  also  need  to  be  exposed  to  seminars  and workshop on the treatment and prevention of malaria.
